Summary

We’d love you to join us! We are looking for Fundraising Volunteers to join our team by helping at our fundraising activities and events across Somerset.

Detailed description

We have a variety of roles, times and locations across Somerset to choose from - find an event that appeals to you and get in touch! We will send you regular dates, times and details of upcoming occasions for you to browse through.

Tasks we ask for help with include:

  • Bucket Collections at events and supermarkets
  • Serving refreshments at events
  • Collecting and sourcing prizes and gifts for raffles, auctions etc.
  • Selling raffle tickets, merchandise etc. at events
  • Stewarding or marshalling at events
  • Helping set up and pack down an event
  • Promoting hospice events by displaying posters, leaflets and newsletters in local shops, community noticeboards, libraries, village halls, GP surgeries etc. (Remembering to ask for permission first!)
