If you are interested in supporting young people, this role gives you the opportunity to help a young person to enhance their social skills and improve their self-confidence.

You will volunteer alongside the Leaving Care Team and help to facilitate a range of groups and drop in sessions to support young people aged 16 – 25 years old as they transition from Care to Living Independently.

You will volunteer alongside the Leaving Care team to help to facilitate a range of groups and drop in sessions including: 

• Social groups

• Life Skills Groups

• Job Clubs 

• Leaving Care Council. 

Volunteers will always work alongside employed team member and we will offer an induction and regular supervision meetings.

Volunteering in this role will help you to make a positive difference to someone’s life and assist them in gaining greater independent skills in readiness for the next step in life. The role is also a good way to gain experience of working within the Care system.
