The District campsite is nearly 50 acres, mixture of camping areas and woodlands. There are always a variety of jobs that need doing
The District campsite is nearly 50 acres, mixture of camping areas and woodlands. There are always a variety of jobs that need doing. It is a great opportunity to meet up with others.
At the moment the crew meet on a Wednesday morning for odd jobs and coffee but other days would be possible. You could help once a week or more often if liked or once a month.
Jobs are allocated depending on skill set, or training on the job can be done. Eg wandering around with secateurs cutting back brambles, erecting fencing, basic repairs, painting etc . Most of this work is done when there are no or few young people on site. The site has a variety of wildlife.
