Summary
We are looking for a treasurer for our small active group. We are a registered charity so experience would be useful but not essential as training can be given.Detailed description
This is a trustee role and entails keeping the MDA accounts up to date and also submitting them to the Charity Commission. The trustees meet approximately four times a year but in between these times communication is usually by email. Experience would be useful but our existing treasurer has offered to assist with training if required.
MDA is committed to supporting local people with dementia along with their carers, family and friends. We are a very active group and run activities throughout the week. We also work in the community to raise awareness of dementia and the challenges that people with memory loss face.
