We are a not for profit organisation offering skills-based learning opportunities during the school holidays in South Petherton. The Holiday Club Assistant will provide general assistance - this is a really varied role and could include anything from joining in games, helping young people in activities such as cooking or craft, or helping to clear away cleaning up after activities. We'd need your help between 6th - 9th April and 14th - 16th April. It may be just one day or could be more - we're happy to have a chat with you about your availability. Hopefully you'll enjoy the role, and there will be further opportunities to get involved in the future. It is very satisfying helping to create a positive learning environment; Seeing young people come in the room, sometimes a little anxious, and then helping create an environment in which they relax, explore and build skills. You'll also gain experience of working with young people and team work skills. We need you to commit to the day/s you agree to, but this does not need to be the whole range of dates. This is very important - it's something you feel you can do, please do not apply.
