Somerset Wheelchair Sports Club are looking for a volunteer to take over the delivery of our weekly wheelchair sports session on a Monday evening.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and welcoming individual to assume responsibility for the running of our weekly wheelchair sports session, offering a variety of activities to able and disabled children and adults.
For these sessions, we require help with:
- Getting the wheelchairs out of the container
- Maintaining the wheelchairs
- Enabling the participants in the first session
Support and training will be provided over a transitional period to enable you to get a feel for, and gain an overview about, the club and sessions.
We are restarting these sessions from September on a Monday evening, from 7pm to 8pm, at the Taunton Campus of Bridgwater and Taunton College. We operate during term time only and the time commitment will be just over an hour each week.
