We have been given funding to start up an After School Meal Club which is primarily aimed at families who are struggling.

We have been given a grant through the Somerset Food Resilience Fund and are linking up with local Supermarkets Morrison's and Asda. We have started our 'Grubs Up' afterschool club for young children with their families on Thursday's. This will be a crafts session followed by a meal.

If you feel you would like to help us with this, please get in touch. Timings would be 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm for the Afterschool Club on a Thursday.

It will involve either helping with the preparation of meals for the children, or helping with the crafts, or washing up and clearing up.

We are a lovely team of individuals and this is a really nice thing to do. It is great to see the children enjoying themselves and the mums are so appreciative.

We can offer training in Food Hygiene for Catering Level 2, and also Allergens Awareness if you would like.

Please contact me if you are interested!
