We are about to launch a new project which is aimed at helping those who are lonely, bereaved, depressed, etc. Can you help? Full training given.
ST MARY'S CHURCH, BRIDGWATER, TA6 3EQ
We are about to launch a new project which is aimed at helping those who are lonely, bereaved, depressed, or suffering from any other wellbeing issues. We will have mental health professionals working the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month from 14th September. We are looking for help in the cafe on these days, and also the Wednesday's in between. Even if you can only offer 1 Wednesday a month, this would be fabulous. If you feel you have other skills you can offer to this day, we would love to hear from you. Full training is given. We have a cheerful modern and welcoming cafe within St. Mary's Church Bridgwater where we serve wonderful coffees, teas, cakes, bacon sandwiches, delicious toasted sandwiches etc.
We offer 'Pay It Forward' and are working hard to create a friendly space for people to come and relax and enjoy the company of others.
St Mary's Church is a beautiful church steeped in history, but it has recently been re-ordered, modernizing it for the 21st Century.
Our volunteers are friendly and we all enjoy making the experience for our customers enjoyable. We meet lots of lovely new people.

Full training is offered, including certificated training to Food Hygiene for Catering Level 2 and also Allergens Awareness.
We are looking for someone who is friendly and reliable.
