Your Arts Centre needs you!

Trustees wanted for The David Hall Arts Centre, South Petherton

Currently in a state of change, Petherton Arts Trust, who own and run The David Hall are looking forward to an active and exciting relaunch as soon as possible. PAT are looking for people with an interest in the arts, business, and ways to support the Somerset community.

PAT have spaces for new Trustees to further the work of this wonderful venue. PAT meet bi monthly (currently monthly), and Trustees are encouraged to attend events either as visitors or volunteers.

We also ask for all Trustees to join one of our Teams:

Marketing & Promotion

Buildings, Maintenance incl. Health and Safety,

Finance, Fundraising and Management incl. Sponsorship and Business Development,

Community Fundraising,

Programming and Community Engagement.  

Who is PAT?

The current PAT Board consists of White, British, five males and one female. Most are around aged 50 – 75 years old.

Current Trustee’s skills include: 

Management,

Strategic Planning,

Administration,

Marketing and Sales,

Technical Theatre,

IT,

Community Fundraising,

Project Management,

Programming and Community Events.

Who are we looking for?

People who can make PAT more effective?

People have skills and interests you can bring to the Trust?

People from any background that would complement and support the activity of PAT and The David Hall?

We are looking for skills in the areas of:

Marketing

Change Management

Influencing

Building / Structure

Education and/or working with Young People

Financial Management.

Community Liaison / Development.

Legal

Maybe if you are not yet ready to be a full Trustee perhaps you could act as an ‘Advisor Associate’ to the PAT Board on specific areas of expertise where we need short term support and direction.
