Are you able to commit to volunteering for at least two events per year? Are you looking for the chance to meet new people and make a difference?
We are expanding rapidly and we need your help to raise awareness and increase income for The Air Ambulance Service and the Children’s Air Ambulance by supporting our large events and events local to you while representing the Charity.
As an event support volunteer some of the things you would be involved in are:
• Setting up and clearing down the event
• Welcoming and talking to members of the public
• Assisting with the smooth running of our events
• Cheering on our supporters
• Helping with promotion of events
Our events vary massively from local fetes and quiz nights to marathons and outdoor cinemas. Hopefully there will be something to interest everyone!
We will communicate all planned events to you regularly so that you can plan ahead and let us know which events you are able to support.
This role is very flexible and you can sign up to support our events on an ad hoc basis when it is most convenient for you. As the charity will invest time in processing your application and providing you with training to carry out your role we ask that you commit to a minimum of two events per year.
