Chard WATCH is a charity that provides a safe and supportive space for people who are experiencing loneliness, isolation and depression. We offer a range of activities, workshops and social events to help our members improve their well-being and confidence. We also advocate for better mental health services and awareness in our community.
As a trustee, you will be part of a team that oversees the strategic direction and management of the charity. You will ensure that we comply with our legal obligations, safeguard our assets and resources, and deliver our mission and vision. You will also contribute your skills and expertise to support the development and growth of the charity.
We are looking for trustees who can commit to attending at least six board meetings per annum, as well as occasional events and activities. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities, including those with lived experience of mental health issues.
