Do you have some spare time? Our new Dorothy House Furniture shop in Midsomer Norton are looking for volunteers to join their friendly team!Detailed description
As a Furniture Assistant you will:
- Prepare items of furniture for display
- Ensure that stock on the shop floor is replenished
- Take phone calls from customers who are making arrangement for delivery and/or pick up
- Capture customer gift aid details and explain how gift aid can support the hospice
- Work with the volunteer team and staff
The skills you need:
- You will have a good eye for Interior Design
- You may have some knowledge of vintage Furniture
- You will have good listening and communication skills
- You will have a great telephone manner

We give care and support to patients and their families in Bath and north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of our outreach centres. We respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
