Themed Primary School group visits require volunteers to meet and greet and escort groups/present talks. Wednesdays only during summer and autumn term.Detailed description
We welcome primary school groups to attend on Wednesdays during the summer and autumn terms for themed days at the ESR. Evacuees, History of Railways, Transport, The Victorians are just some of the many topics we can provide talks on during a fact and fun-filled day which can also include visits to the Engine Shed, Signal Box and Miniature Railway. Volunteers with a knowledge of these type of topics who would be happy to give 20 minute talks are very welcome to get in touch. Anyone who would like to meet and greet and escort groups would be welcome too. Flexible time commitments, as and when volunteers are available.
