Escapeline is looking for new trustees to bring further expertise and experience to the Board. This is an unpaid, part-time position within our small team.Detailed description
We are currently looking for new trustees to bring further expertise and experience to the Board.
Trustees are unpaid volunteers who carry the overall legal responsibility for the decisions and actions of the charity. The trustees ensure that Escapeline has a clear strategy and that its work and goals are in line with the charity’s vision. As a trustee of the charity you will:
- Directly contribute to the development and success of the charity from developing strategy and services to managing day to day governance
- Attend quarterly trustee meetings and additional sub-committee meetings as required
- Be actively involved in the fundraising and hands on tasks of the charity
- Ensure the resources of the charity are used in an efficient and sustainable way
- Be involved in decisions that impact on the lives of children and young people in South West England

- Skills to benefit the charity’s development
Skills we are looking to recruit to the board include:
- Previous experience in not-for-profit sector
- Public Services (Exploitation)
- Mental Health
- Youth social work or teaching backgrounds
- HR knowledge and expertise
In return you will be actively involved in helping our growing team to protect young people from child exploitation across South West England.
