Detailed description
This project presents opportunities for a wide range of volunteers. This is a community project requiring skilled workers such as builders, electricians and plumbers or unskilled workers who might be able to help research the mill history, clean up the artefacts, assist on open days etc. If you are interested we have a job for you! We are looking for a group of volunteers to help us with this fantastic project.
About FORCE (Friends of Renovating Cowbridge sawmill Entirely)
To support the renovation of Cowbridge Sawmill to ensure the continuation of its 700 years of existence and return it to the status of a working mill powered by water. The production of sustainable energy for local use. To support the development at the mill of a museum of agricultural tools and machinery of historical value and interest.
We support the renovation of Cowbridge Sawmill and the development of the mill museum by:
Fundraising, research, practical work - building etc and marketing.
