Summary

Volunteers needed for Frogmary Green Farm parkrun. There are a variety of roles available, between 8am and 1030am with a friendly team of regular volunteers.

Detailed description

We have a friendly team of regular volunteers at Frogmary Green Farm, roles include marshals (cheering runners on), scanning barcodes (using your smart phone), handing out tokens and setting up the course. Full training is provided and volunteers can help as little or often as they like.

Frogmary Green Farm parkrun is a weekly 5k running event that needs 30+ volunteers of all ages to make sure the event runs smoothly. The event is held every Saturday at 9am. Volunteers can help between 8am and 1030am and do not need to take part (unless you want to). There are a mixture of roles available, both active (eg setting up the course or tailwalking) and non active (eg handing out tokens).

For details of roles available, please take a look at our website.

About Frogmary Green Farm parkrun

Our community 5k running / walking event takes place every Saturday at 9am at Frogmary Green Farm. We need between 30 and 40 volunteers to make sure everything runs safely. We rely on volunteers to help in a variety of roles from marshals, timekeeping, and handing out tokens. We have a strong support base between the ages of 6 (with parental assistance) - 91 and are always looking for new volunteers. You can help between 8am and 1030. There is no need to help every week, just when you can. We have a cheery team and really grateful participants.
