For those who have not got a network of family of friends locally, volunteers are needed to help with the shopping of basic supplies or collection of medication
Requests will be made to the Services staff of the Parish Council from vulnerable residents and we will link to a volunteer who is able to help. Volunteers will be asked if they are able to pick up the shopping or whats requested.

Martock Community Team are a localised Social Care team who support residents in Martock by providing services and offering one to one support. The overall aim of which is to combat loneliness and isolation; and to support and empower individuals with their own goals and challenges. The services we offer include: - Martock Job Club supporting residents with their employment, training and volunteering journey; The Wednesday Club, a social support group combating isolation and improving well-being and health; Martock Friend's Group, a friendly group for seniors who come together for companionship, activity and lunch; Befriending; The Community Allotment; and Well-Being Walks.
