Matt’s Respite Retreats is a registered charity set up to offer respite breaks for those affected by cancer. It covers the UK and gets it referrals from the NHS and MacMillan.
Based in Wincanton our meetings are held in the evenings generally around four times a year (either in person or via Zoom), more when we are organising an event.
We're looking for all round individuals who are willing to help where needed or you may have a specialist skill to bring to the table.
You don’t have to have previous experience but the following attributes are desirable.
- Confident in approaching people
- Be positive and enthusiastic and have a passion for our mission
- Reach out to our local community to elicit support
