Summary

We are looking for an expert in social media; preferably a young graduate who is keen to go into the charity sector.

Detailed description

This is a volunteer role (all Trustees are volunteers), and we are seeking a passionate young person who really cares about mental health and who is already very social media-savvy. We require a commitment to a certain number of hours per day, but the time of day is flexible. Thus, this role could be fitted around further study, a part-time job, or even a full-time job if the hours are 9-5pm.

Our current social media channels are Facebook and Twitter, and although we have an Instagram presence, it is not developed. We need a volunteer to engage daily with our supporters and followers and increase our visibility. Is that you?! If so, please apply!

If you love social media and engaging with others from all walks of life, you care about making a difference, and you hope to get into the charity or NGO sector, this role could provide you with excellent experience, fulfilment and references, acting as a springboard to a paid position in the future. We would love to hear from you!

About Mental Health Research UK

Mental Health Research is the UK's first charity dedicated to raising funds for research into mental ill-health, its causes and cures. We fund PhDs and aim to make a long-term difference to people suffering from poor mental health and their families. Only research can provide the necessary understanding to ensure the creation of better treatments and improvements in prevention. MHRUK is entirely volunteer-run and we have no office in order to keep down costs - everyone works remotely.
