Volunteer Marshals for Minehead Bay Festival

Our volunteer marshals will be our eyes and ears on the ground, assisting with crowd control and pedestrian flow to avoid blocking walkways, keeping an eye out for any problems that need to be radioed into the first aid team or event manager and providing assistance and directions to the general public. The festival is open to the public from 12-6pm but we also require marshals in the morning and evening to assist with set up and take down. If you can help at all, even if it's just one hour of your time, we'd love to hear from you. Free refreshments will be provided to volunteer marshals. No experience in marshalling needed as full training and briefing will be provided on the day. You can expect a fun day enjoying the scenic views from Minehead Esplanade and you'll enjoy getting to know others in your community.
