Our Gardener Volunteers support our homes, by maintaining the gardens and adding colourful plants, so that the people we support love their outdoor space.Detailed description
We are looking for some keen gardeners to add colour, scent and texture to our supported living gardens in Wellington. Can you help us with the following tasks:
- Create planters
- Provide general maintenance of our gardens
- Watering, planting, weeding and pruning
- Maintaining flower beds & adding colourful plants
- Creating/improving/maintaining our sensory garden spaces
Skills required
In order to become one of our gardener volunteers you will be:
- Knowledgeable about plants
- Confident using gardening equipment
- Punctual and reliable
- Friendly and approachable
Please note that you will need to be over the age of 18 in order to apply for this role.
