Summary

We are currently looking for a flexible volunteer to provide support to the Membership and Fundraising team.

Detailed description

Volunteers in this role will support the Membership and Fundraising Administrator in a range of administration tasks on a Thursday.


Tasks included in this role:

  • Packaging and posting membership packs, adoption packs and shop orders
  • Supporting with event prep and admin around central SWT events such as the AGM
  • Supporting with postage and sorting of large mailings such as appeals

Skills and abilities needed:

We’re not looking for an expert, just someone with the right aptitude and skills to learn and make the most of this opportunity! 

Ideally we’re looking for:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills - a friendly and open approach to all members of the public and staff. We get a large number of enquiries covering a wide variety of topics.
  • Computer literate – ideally familiar with Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel. Training will be provided for any specific programmes that you may be asked to use.
  • Interest in wildlife and nature conservation
