Summary

Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Wilder Youth Forum is welcoming members again! Are you a young person in Somerset who dreams of a greener, wilder future?

Detailed description

The forum supports young people ages 12 – 24 to learn about wildlife, visit nature-rich places, get involved in the environmental politics of Somerset and have a voice within the charity. The group is supported to collectively decide how to spend their budget on workshops, activities and experiences.

No specialist knowledge required or hoops to jump through, we want you to show up as you!

About the role:

Forum meetups are held every other month, on a Saturday. The location moves around Somerset. Previous locations include Fyne Court, Avalon Marshes Centre, Sheppy’s Cider, and Heal Rewilding. Locations are flexible depending on where members of the forum are based. The meetups consist of the youth forum meeting and an activity in nature. The forum provides a range of workshops and experiences related to wildlife conservation.
