CATBus is a local charity helping people across South Somerset stay connected to their community.
We run a dial-a-ride (Ring & Ride) service from Wincanton, covering Bruton, Castle Cary, Templecombe and surrounding areas, using wheelchair-accessible minibuses and volunteer social car drivers.
Our passengers include people who may:
- Be older or less mobile
- Have health conditions or disabilities
- Feel isolated due to limited public transport
- Find it difficult to get to appointments or social activities
For many, CATBus is more than just transport. It’s a vital lifeline — helping people stay independent, reduce loneliness, and remain part of their community.
