Summary

Meet, greet and direct people as they come to be vaccinated by marshalling within a car park or inside the vaccination centre

Detailed description

The Somerset Vaccination Programme has already involved hundreds of community volunteers - can you help too?

Do you have good communication skills and like working as part of a team?

Would you like to add some new skills to your CV?  Are you looking for work experience?  Do you have some free time and want to support your local community?

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly individuals to become volunteer marshals.

Meet, greet and direct members of the public outside in the car park or inside one of the many volunteer centres

across Somerset run by GP surgeries or community pharmacies.

You will work as part of a local team, who will give you the necessary training and support.

Shifts are usually between 4 and 6 hours, and may cover 7 days a week on a Rota basis. You can offer as few or as many shifts as you like.

Volunteers must be aged 17 years or older.

We very much look forward to hearing from you.

Come and give it a go!

Please provide some basic details in our form, and we'll be in touch to let you know when and where there is an opportunity to start volunteering.
