We are looking for a caring person who would love to look after St Mary's ChurchDetailed description
We need someone who loves cleaning and would really like to take care of St Mary's Church. This involves dusting, brass work, washing and polishing floors, ensuring the toilets are clean and have enough toilet rolls etc. This role is very flexible. We just want someone who is caring and wants to look after the church, ensuring it's clean and sparkly for visitors. Others are available to help but we need someone who will really take this role under their wing and organise cleaning sessions, or delegate tasks.
If the role of Verger interests you, then this is something we very much wish for as well.
We have many users of the Church and all are friendly. We run sessions for those with disabilities, young children, Wellbeing Days, craft groups, the elderly, cafes, concerts etc. so there is contact with many different people.
