Someone with the interest and experience to help organise the financial affairs of a small and friendly non-profit run mainly by volunteers.
The Good Heart is a small community interest company set up in February 2022 to help the people of Frome and the surrounding area to celebrate, practise and explore the positive effect that kindness can have on our mental and physical health, relationships and community. We host a community cafe and Warm Space, offer workshops in local schools, and run events such as an annual Kindness Festival. We are looking for a treasurer/finance officer who can help with some or all of the following: bookkeeping, preparing the paperwork for end-of-year accounts, reporting back to the Board, and giving financial advice. If you have financial skills and experience you could make a huge contribution to the success of our work. This can be either a Board or general volunteer role.
