Gardener

YMCA Taunton is seeking enthusiastic and creative volunteers to help transform and maintain our outdoor spaces.

We currently have grass verges, flower planters and vegetable boxes.

You will have the opportunity to come up with creative ideas to transform our outside space into a vibrant and welcoming environment.

This role is perfect for individuals, groups, or corporate volunteers looking to make a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning our outside space.
• Bringing creative ideas to life
• Maintaining and enhancing grass verges and planters.
• Liaising with local garden centres for sponsorships or discounted goods.
• Working collaboratively with other volunteers and YMCA staff.

Future Plans: We are currently building a database of willing volunteers as our site is undergoing building work. Although the physical work won't be required immediately, we are starting the planning stages now. Your early involvement will be crucial in shaping our future outdoor spaces.
