Summary
With over 4 acres of land, and 4 pitches to maintain, our grounds are a constant upkeep for our volunteer Groundsmen.Detailed description
We are looking for a group of keen Volunteer Gardeners and Groundsmen to work closely together as self starters, to assist with presentation and maintanence of our club pitches and grounds. A general knowledge of gardening and grounds work, a reasonable level of fitness and practical experience of using a wide range of gardening tools and equipment. Tasks will include:
- General ground keeping
- Cutting and strimming pitches and surrounding grounds
- Watering and planting of plants, plant pots and baskets
- Weeding pitches and grounds
- General upkeep including sweeping, litter picking and tidying of paths and patio areas.
- Provide additional support in the lead up to events and private hire functions where grounds need to be used.
If you are confident, resourceful, enthusiastic, resourceful with a cando attitude and dedicated to your club, you could hold a role where you ensure the club and the local community share their resources. If you know your way around a garden we would love to hear from you.
