About Sharpham Road Playing Fields parkrun
Our parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event, put on every Saturday morning by a group of volunteers. Participants can walk, jog, or run, and every week we need a team of people to set out the route signs, scan finisher barcodes, do the timekeeping, marshal the course and help with tidying up afterwards. The time commitment is between 8.30 and 10am on Saturdays and you can volunteer whatever weeks work best for you - just let us know a few days beforehand if you can help. All volunteers must pre-register at parkrun.org.uk/register so your efforts are properly recorded and your volunteer credits earned.
