"West Somerset Community Land Trust (WSCLT) is a Housing Trust created by local volunteers who really care about the social impact that the lack of truly affordable housing is having in West Somerset.
WSCLT will provide genuinely low cost housing for people who live in the District of West Somerset by building or refurbishing a supply of high standard, eco sustainable homes, to Passif â„¢ Standard or similar which will be appropriate to the area and in which the local community will maintain a PERMANENT stake.
We plan to demonstrate that truly affordable housing is possible in West Somerset at competitive cost, and by using natural materials where possible at economically viable cost."
